FABS - Folks Associated with Blakesley School
FABS is a wide-ranging group of parents, teachers, carers and members of the community volunteering to share skills, raise money and support our school.
Whilst the main aim of FABS is to raise funds for the school; we also work together with the community to provide fun and enhancing opportunities for every child and their family.
The support of FABS is hugely appreciated by the school, not only in terms of the extra resources that they provide, but also in bringing a family and community spirit to our school through their many events and initiatives.
Our Events
We hold fundraising events throughout the year. Recent events have included:
Movie and Hot dog night, A visit from Santa, School Disco, Prosecco and Puddings Evening (adults only!) Mothers’ Day gift stall, Garden Clearance pworking party and a Family Camp Out Festival.
We are always looking for new ideas to bring our community together and raise funds to support our school.
Who are FABS?
We have many members of FABS, some attend and support with all of our events, some offer help when they can.
We meet every term and are always looking for additional members, if you are interested in joining us please contact us via the school office.
