School Lunches

Children can choose to have a hot lunch or to bring in their own packed lunch. Packed lunches should be healthy and balanced, including a piece of fruit or vegetables.

Our hot lunch provider is Kingswood Catering.

Bookings can be made directly with Kingswood. Orders must be placed a week in advance.

Free School Meals

All of our Early Years and Key Stage 1 children are entitled to a free hot school meal, funded by the Government through their Universal Free School Meals programme.

All children may be entitled to free school meals if you get any of the following:

  • Income Support
  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • The guaranteed element of Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit
  • Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
  • Universal Credit

Children who get paid these benefits directly, instead of through a parent or guardian, can also get free school meals.

If your child is eligible for free school meals, they’ll remain eligible until they finish the phase of schooling (primary or secondary). Those children eligible for free school meal’s will also be entitled to Pupil Premium Funding through the school which will be directed to supporting and enhancing their educational opportunities.

Please speak to our Office Administrator, Cassandra Bowman, for more information about how to apply for Free School Meals or Pupil Premium Funding.
