Welcome to our School

As Headteacher here at Blakesley CE Primary School, I would like to extend a warm welcome to our school website.

Our school is a small school in the beautiful village of Blakesley, South Northants.  Founded by William Foxley in 1669, we have the oldest classroom in Northamptonshire which is still in use as a classroom.  The school has been extended over the years and we are fortunate to have great inside and outside spaces.  In spite of being a small school, visitors always remark that our buildings are ‘like a tardis’ and the school is lucky to have a good sized site not visible from the road.

We are all extremely proud of our school and are committed to providing the best possible education for all of our children.  We know that Blakesley CE Primary is a happy, stimulating and attractive environment and each child is encouraged to develop a lively and enquiring mind.  We want children to leave our school prepared for ‘life’s big adventure’ as happy, confident and successful learners.

I hope that this website gives you a glimpse of life at Blakesley CE Primary as well as giving you any information that you need.  We know that our school is a wonderful place for pupils to start their education.  But don’t just take our word for it - please come and see for yourself.  I would be delighted to show you around.
